ONE-WAY VALVE FOR CLEAN WASH WATER: The textured underside and small funnel holes of this mop bucket insert act as a one-way valve - dirt passes through the cyclone funnels and stays trapped below, unable to flow back into clean water
CHEMICAL GUYS TWO-BUCKET WASH SYSTEM: Use one grit guard insert in a clean water rinse bucket and optionally one in the soap bucket for the two-bucket method for car detailing; pair with a Chenille Wash Mitt for scratch-safe washing & auto care
ELIMINATES SCRATCH-CAUSING WASH PARTICLES: Abrasive dirt particles trapped below the Chemical Guys car wash bucket insert cannot reach the wash mitt again, to protect paint and reduce swirl marks that come from accumulated grit dragged across paint
WILL IT FIT MY WASH BUCKET: Yes - the 12 inch diameter is designed to fit standard 5-gallon wash buckets, including the Chemical Guys Heavy Duty Detailing Bucket and most aftermarket wash buckets of similar dimensions
CYCLONE DIRT TRAP BUCKET INSERT (DIRTTRAP02): The 12 inch red detailing bucket insert for home car washers running the two-bucket wash method who want the scratch-safe wash that proper dirt separation delivers
300 CYCLONIC FUNNELS TRAP DIRT BELOW: Nearly 300 cyclonic funnels in this bucket dirt trap channel dirty water downward and trap abrasive particles beneath the grid, keeping contamination off your wash mitt during wash cycles
